lights dimming
For the past few weeks I have been noticing my lights dimming and brightening when I am driving at night. I took it to the shop and had the battery and alternator tested and everything checked out fine. Anyone else have this problem or have any ideas as to what might be causing it? Thanks for the help.

RE: lights dimming
well do u have an amp and subs in the trunk? cuz if so, its drawing power which dims headlights. Happens to my car all the time. I put in a capacitor, which helped only a little bit, so u have to upgrade the alternator and battery.

I have also noticed the same thing on my '03 EX-V6. It seems to happen when I accelerate, so I figured it had something to do with the alternator or wiring. I'm not sure, I wouldn't mind knowing why it happens as well.
**Note: This problem is most noticable while the high-beams are on.
(I too have not changed the stock electrical system)

Check this out. "The Big Three"

"As many of you know, upgrading the "Big 3" wires in your engine compartment can lower the overall resistance of your entire electrical system. The effects of the lower resistance are typically:"
1) Reduced dimming and smaller voltage drops
2) More stable voltage and better current flow
3) Less strain on your vehicle's charging system
