Alpine and Kenwood both have adaptors to plug into the back. Alpine is the AI-net adaptor. It lets you plug your ipod directly into the alpine NO FM TRANSMITTER, and actually CONTOL THE iPOD FROM THE DECK. So u can run the cord to your glove box and plug in your iPOD there, and shut the glove box! NO MESSY WIRES, MY FAVORITE! I believe it is the same way with the kenwood, but don't quote me, i've only done it with the alpine so far. But i have not heard any complaints out of the kenwoods either, and i know we've sold alot. Pioneer is suposed to have one in the works too i believe

Yes there is lots out there for different decks but if you folks did not read above here clearly stated "Instead of installing an MP3 Player" into his car lol the only way to do it is thru fm Transmitter unless u have a cassette deck that would work too.....

I'm I'm not mistaken I think there is already an AUX out on the back of those decks and I'm sure there's a cable that you plug right into the back and you can plug right into an Ipod. I'll see if I can find the site where you can buy it.

Gummi, if you are talking about a stock head unit then you are mortally horribly mistaken, there has never been one like that.
