Default Multiple Amps + JL Clean Sweep

Hello All,

As a newly registered member and Accord owner I would like to make my first post meaningful. I did some searching and could not find anyone who talked about multiple amps with the clean sweep. I too want to keep the factory OEM radio and add an aftermarket system from my old vehicle. I have two amps I want to use:

5 channel Alpine (400 watts)
2 channel Kenwood (700 watts)

The issue I have is the Alpine accepts 4 RCA inputs (FL, FR, RL, RR) and I want to keep it that way for balance. In doing so I will need to put a Y adapter to split the rear speakers to get a signal for my subs. I have done this in the past but not with the Clean Sweep. Has anyone done this? If so did you notice any signal loss or interference with this setup?

Any thoughts , suggestions are appreciated.

BTW - I love my new accord = 31 MPG on the first tank - woohoo!!!!!!!

Welcome! Sorry I can't offer any information to help. I have the Clean Sweep but with a single amp and a Bazooka with it's own self contained amp. I just didn't want you to think this had gone unnoticed. I paid a pro to install it all and wasn't present when it was done. DO make sure to use the setup CD with the CSweep once complete. You will have a seperate volume control so figure out where it's going before you tear into things.

All,

I decided to just go with a Scosche SLC-4 for now. It was only 17 bucks so I will see if that satisfies me. I will post picks of the install once complete.

It's an inline converter (4 channel).
