Well..I was able to find them on e-bay! the Actual OEM part that comes with the 6 Disk CD Changer/XM Ready/and Climate control. I already have the CD Changer feature on mine but I'd like to upgrade my AC to a climate control.

they seem legit...

...my only question is all the wording saying double check this and that to make sure it fits in your car...if its stock...why wouldnt it?

Default RE: Question About the climate control

Well the wiring harness that connects it to the car might be different on different models (especially since there are different versions with AC vs. Climate Cotrol). I can probably deal with the harness myself but my main concern is switching from A/C ready to Climate-control ready! I don't know if the climate control temp. sensor is built in the unit or not! if it is built in, well I'm guessing it shouldn't give me any problems switching, but if the sensor isn't built in the unit then I think it'd make it harder since I have to install the sensor sensor. I already asked the dealer they said no, but again they answered me based on the Factory Standards. (They told me I can't install an OEM In dash CD Changer in my chevy, but I could do it with no problems). Any suggestions on how to find out if the climate control sensor is built in the unit or not?

Default RE: Question About the climate control

i would talk to an actual tech about it....

i was researching the possibility of going from auto climate to manual climate on my m3...cause after i put the double din head unit in, the temp sensors in the hvac behind it didnt read properly, and the auto wasnt worknig very well...the tech i spoke to knew the system inside and out, and was able to answer all my questions....the SA wouldnt know nearly enough, and certainly not a salesperson.
