you have a completely different stereo then I do then. Mine only has 6 buttons. that could be where the confusion came in about the code only being 4 digits.

 

I called that number and the person said that’s only number they could provide me which is the same code I got on their website the “ 5 digit code “ I need the 4 the digit code help

 

If you have the Nav/radio you will have 2 codes. 1 to unlock the radio and one to unlock the Navi. You will have to go to the dealership to get them.

Has this been your car since new. I have the 07 with Navi. And the system is different from when I purchased the car in 06 due to a failure. Of course I fixed it myself and in turn the codes changed which Honda would have no knowledge of. They must pull it to be able to get the codes (only if your system has been changed. If not then they should be able to pull it by VIN).

I have honda accord 2003, 3.0L.My radio was unlocked.Each time i unlocked it using the three bottons (1, 6 and power botton) it works but after 5 minutes it goes back off and blocked.
Any one can help?

Get the vin of the car and the serial number of the radio and go to Honda radio code website and it will give you the code

 

And I can guarantee what you are doing is not unlocking the radio with that combination. You need 4 digits to unlock the radio

 

If you don't know you serial number look on you tube on how to remove the radio to retrieve it.

 

"Press and hold the 1 and 6 radio preset buttons, and turn ON the device" is only used to retrieve the serial number. You still need to contact Honda or the dealership for the radio code.

 

Go to this site once you have your serial number and vin.
