Default sub and system question

hello new accord owner here just getting to know my car
Trying to determine whether its a 6 or 7 speaker without navi there are 2 speaker up front, tweets in the upper doors and 3 speakers across rear deck the center one i am asuming is the sub so 7 speaker system???

went i turn it up a bit i get some rattling from back not sure if coming from small left and right channel speakers but am suspecting the sub

i am a cabinet maker and happen to have a very high end 8" 4 ohm sub would like to build a nice little enclosure for it i would like to just unplug factory sub and plug in this new sub is this possible

thankyou for any and all input in advance

sorry car is 2008 ex coupe

highly doubt it. if you have a high end sub your factory wiring is not going to be sufficient nor will the factory amp push enough power.

so apparently the rattle i am hearing is the dreaded rear package tray rattle and not a speaker issue have contacted dealer there is a TSB for resolution of this problem

using your nice 8" off an aftermarket amp is a good idea, after you remove the stock sub, and use those wires to feed the high level inputs on your sub amp. if your sub amp lacks high level inputs, you can use this LOC (with auto turn-on)
