Subwoofer Question??

I can add that I've decided what battery i'm going to get - a DieHard Platinum Group 34. It's the largest physical size AGM I can fit. One note is that it's made by Odyssey, a great AGM battery manufacturer (and the DieHard version is $100 cheaper). It's also important to note that Odyssey can't build a side post for shyt - the 34/78 series is notorious for physical failures - which sucks, i love top AND side posts.
Kinetik still makes the best AGM batteries you can get. Also up there are Powermaster and Batcap. However, my desired budget for a battery tops out at $200 - which is the price of the DieHard Platinum 34.
I'll be sure to develop a detailed post on my alternator upgrade, big 3 wiring upgrade, and the battery upgrade.

Hello, im resurrecting this thread again because i finally am upgrading my alternator, and i am pretty clueless on the subject and just want to know the right high power alternator for my car and if i have to upgrade my wiring as well(big 3). I am not looking to spend over $200, and i am putting a whole slew of new electronics in my car and don't want to blow my stock alternator. so any advice would be well appreciated. ( just to recap i have an 05 accord coupe with a 450 watt amp/sub setup and more electronics on the way)

you are limited with the alt size on a 4cyl. note that a h.o. alt will lower fuel economy.
also note that the Honda Electronic Load Detector (ELD) will turn off the alt regardless of your sound system volume. See my ELD thread sticky in this section.
A 120-140A alt (or there abouts) would be sufficient.
