Default Updates to my 03 Accord

Hey all, its been a while since I posted, but ive recently had a few things done to my Accord and wanted to share it with you all.
First, I had all my windows tinted and added in channel Vent-Visors.
I also finally decided to add subs. So, i went with JL Audio 10's as I thought it would be the best mix between bass and also sound quality.

I could have just ran my subs on my PPI amp but decided to go with an Alpine M500 mono amp to run them on

The only thing i need to do now (and i dont know that I will) is to replace the factory head unit with an aftermarket head unit. i have a small amount of noise and the only way to get rid of it would be to get a new headunit.

Nice looking subs, man. Post some pics of the tints too! How much were the vent visors btw? And where did you get them? I've been wondering about getting some myself...

Thanks bro! I do like the subs, but can tell that they dont get as low as the 12's i used to have in a previous car. Of course, they arent going to get as low, since they cant reproduce sound as low as a 12 can.
Anyway

I got the Vent-Visors from AutoZone and it took them about 2 days to get here. Installation was a breeze and took about 10 minutes.

can you post a link to the vent visors? I've been thinking about getting some of those too, but they're pretty expensive for some plastic vents.

I didnt order them online, but rather just walked into the store and bought them.
You can get them from Advance Auto, O'Reilly, or whatever auto parts store is in your area.
I think I paid just under $40 for mine.

nice... i like the grey/silver look of the new JL's...

I have a 3-4 year old JL12W3v2... still poundin... gotta love JL

quick question...

Im trying to replace my door speakers... wondering how deep of a speaker i can look to get...

already found out the hard way on the rear deck... used 6.5" round speaker mounts instead of the factory 6x9 holes.... installed infinity refrences and the tweeter was so high the factory speakers covered wouldnt snap down.... now one is blown....

looking to possibly buy the shallow Infinity Reference 6022si's... which is the same speaker... just a shallow mount.... not sure how much bass i will lose by going with the shallow vs the regular coaxil....

whats your thoughts on the doors? is there enough room down there to install something witha decent magnet on it?
or did you use spacers to get enough room?

curious... figure i should ask some questions before i go buying 2 sets of speakers and find out they dont fit....

any ideas on what to get???
