Default Viper Alarm Remote Start Question on 2000 Accord EX

Sup Everyone,

Im looking to install the Viper 5900 or 791xv on my wife's 2000 Accord EX Sedan. I have a question, what alternatives do i have for installing the remote start without having to leave a key in the car? Has anyone tried the PKH2 Transponder Bypass?

ps. im not looking for feedback on alarms, im sticking with the viper 5900 or 791xv just need feedback in reference to the remote start.

Thanks

i dont remember much but i got really into it when researching an alarm for my car about a year ago. I had the same question as you did. i didnt want to leave my spare key in my car. but it turned out it was my only choice if i wanted the remote start feature.
I asked the installers about the transponder but BECAUSE my car already came with a with a stock alarm and the honda key has somekind of code or key which corresponds with the stock alarm. using the transponder wud leave u to reprograming the keys. or something like that.

sorry i kno not much help. just saying waht i somewhat rememeber.
