if anyone uses radio ignition for a remote wire, i do recommend a fuse and a switch. and always remember - amps on last, amps off first. that will prevent pops and thumps.
i never recommend getting a remote turn-on from the battery - eventually you will forget and leave the amp on. not only can this drain your battery, but the amp will be looking for any signal - and can cause pops that can damage your speakers.
you should always have ignition control - even if you just use a relay.
