Default 2003 Accord LX Headlight Lense

Does anybody have suggestions about how to remove the "haze" from the surface of the headlight lense? I can scratch some of it away with a fingernail so I think it might be some type of foreign matter. I tried rubbing compound and it helped a little but man! what a lot of work!

I got my at Wal Mart for $20 + tax. The website cost about $30.
Crystal View works so good that my friends are using them too. It makes the lenses look brand new. Some people are saying that I bought the lenses new.

Thanks again botaine.

TOOTHPASTE!, it does work. I used it on my wife's Accord 2008, and on my Nissan truck. Regular toothpaste, ANY toothpaste, any brand. Work on small area first and continue gradually. Apply toothpaste in the headlight, rub until hazed then buff until it gets clear. You need to do it several times, be PATIENT, one headlight is about 45mins-1 hour. Buff it hard, its a good arm work-out!.
