I use Poorboys EX-P, then I top it with Chemical Guys Pete's '53. Really gives it a wet look.
I don't find that wax hold up to the elements, that's why I use the Poorboys sealant.

You use Sealant first then add Wax?

Yes. I apply the sealant (with PoorBoys, I wait 45 minutes then wipe off). After the sealant is removed I wax the car.

I just figured it would be wax first then sealer.

Sealant won't bond to wax due to the oils in the wax. So sealant first. Then a coat of wax, this is optional.

To ccarney...where can those two items be purchased? My son has a black BWM 650. I need to wax it before winter.

I order direct from Car Wash, Wax, Polishes, Microfiber Towels and Best Auto Detail Supplies - Chemical Guys Professional Car Care Products - Wholesale and Retail for the Pete's '53. The Poorboys products I get from We Are Car Care -- Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detailing Supplies, Car Buffers & Car Accessories Store . Autogeek is $7 bucks to ship for the next 12 or so hours. Might be better buying everything from Autogeek. I have noticed that amazon is now selling chemical guys stuff, could check there also.

Hey JG,
I use collinite. It is what the detailers use. More so before waxing use a paint prep then sealer and wax. I have a 2013 accord coupe right out of the showroom I waxed it and the wax wouldn't last one rain storm. I then spoke to autogeeks in Florida. They recommended paint prep paint seal and then wax. I did the prep seal and wax back in April haven't re waxed it since and every time it rains you get that nice beading effect when you drive.
