Exterior Cleaning (red layer of stubborn dirt deposits)
Hey what's up guys,
I just picked up a 2003 Honda Accord DX 4Dr. and I've currently relocated back to Hawaii, so with that being said, if anyone has ever been to O'ahu, and knows about the environment conditions in the central area, then they'll know what I'm talking about. Anyway, the environment includes rainy weather and red dirt, as a result of that mixture, most car owners rarely take the time to wash their vehicle due to the fact that it'll just rain and get dirty again due to the splashing of red dirty water.
So I picked up this Honda about a month ago, and it's got a layer of stubborn red dirt deposits, stubborn in a sense that, it's been through about 5 car washes , and the dirt is still there! So I'm considering doing a touch-up paint job on the whole car itself (need I mind you the color of the car is white) and just save me the troubles and hard work, well before spending over $500 bucks or more on the touch-up, I was thinking of using either Mother's or Meguires Clay-Bar, do you think it'll work? as far as removing the stubborn red dirt deposits?
Any answers and/or information would be greatly appreciated and considered.
Please and Thank you, in advance.

I would try washing it by hand first, and putting some good pressure on the areas with the dirt deposit. Car washes aren't the best way to remove things like this.
You could also go to a do it your self car wash and use the foaming brush to try and remove it. Just make sure to spray out the brush first so you aren't grinding the dirt of whoever used it last into your paint.

That's what I did, I hand washed it first, then seen the dirt deposits still intact, then drove it through a car wash, even considered using the do-it-yourself car wash area, still no luck. Just gonna go with the Meguires Clay bar kit, and hope for some luck!
Thanks for the input though, I appreciate it.
