Default Running Board 05 Accord - Black Plastic

I tried to make this panel look better, but soon after, it goes back to this ... Anyone have a suggestion on a chemical or otherwise? I was actually considering black shoe polish?

What did you try already?

There are some polishes...back to black and that, that might help. Then just me, I have found that the T Wax Ice does pretty good on getting the "balck" back into things like this. Again, doesn't last forever but does for some time.

By no means am I anywhere close to an expert on this....so if anyone else has a better product/procedure please chime in PLEASE

I have used the back to black and it tends to get streak marks from the rain. I can't tell exactly what going on in the pic. Is it wax residue? Try an all purpose cleaner and a brush.
