I just read this entire thread for the first time. Quick question:
Do I need a buffer to really use this stuff well, or is hand application fine? I plan on ordering some, but if I need a buffer I may need to wait a while.
Who uses a buffer and who does it by hand?

You can Apply wet paint by hand and in some cases it cleans better that way I personally use a combination of both a 10 in obital buffer you can pick up at any autoparts store to do larger areas and also apply by hand in smaller areas and stubbern spots I mainly use the buffer with a terrycloth bonnet to save some of the hand buffing

Default Wet Paint

i would go find the guy who laid down the paint, beat his a, and then make him lick the paint off.

but on a serious note...and someone correct me if im wrong, but if uve kept up with maintaining ur car, and have had it waxed and cleaned properly, the paint from the lines should be on ur wax, or clear coat. You could try stripping the wax, or very carefully, very carefully, using fine fine grit sandpaper, wet sand it off. You have to make sure u dont go to far into the clearcoat. You can take some of it off, but u dont want to completely strip off the clear.

I hear it makes original Fiji Blue cars even more original! But don't beat yourself up, silver is good as well.

After reading all great reviews on Wet Paint I had to try it. I have been using Zanio products for years with great results. I did my Dodge Daytona this morning with WP in about a 1/3 of the time as with Zanio with just as good results and less effort. Now on to the Accord and my Freightliner. BTW no white residual on any of the flat or matte surfaces.
