Default "Accord Swap"

Hi, does anyone know all the parts I need to do a complete swap for my 92 honda accord?

I plan to put a 94-95 accord ex v-tec engine in my 92 accord.

I'd be very thankful for any info because I haven't found any info on this swap. My guess is just direct fit with a v-tec ecu.

What else do I have to do if the new motor is automatic and my car is a manual?

yah dont do it not onlywill it cost you more than buying a newer car but to go from auto to man as well?? not worth it. this will take more effort, money, and time than it would be worth

Just turbo your 92 Accord. The block should be able to take it (up to 8-10 psi of boost).

That beats any ol' swap. You only gain so much (+10?).

EDIT- Plus you have a manual....

well im not a mechanic but iknow you need a gasket set for the whole engine
and your motor isnt automatic your tranny is you need a manuel tranny or keep it and convert your car to automatic but i dont know why you you wanna do that and its 10 times more of a pain in the rear so you need a new tranny and yeah im sure theres more to it than that
thats just what i know

That's pretty much it right there. Run a few wires for the VTEC and everything else should bolt up fine. I'd recommend new belts while you're at it.

You don't have to do anything if the motor came from an auto. It makes no difference.

Yes do an H22..it is literally a direct fit except needing the rear prelude engine mount and the preludes passenger side axle.

Go to www.cb7tuner.com for complete info on motor swaps for the 90-93 accords
