Default 1991 Accord EX Engine Replacement Advice

Honda Engine Codes:

F22A1 2.2 SOHC PGM-FI 2156 125hp@5200rpm 137tq@4000rpm 90-93 Accord

F22A4 2.2 16V SOHC PGM-F 2156 130hp@5200rpm 140tq@4000rpm 90-91 Accord EX

F22A6 2.2 16V SOHC PGM-FI 2156 140hp@5600rpm 142tq@5200rpm 91 Accord SE/EXR/SE

My 1991 Accord EX Coupe came with an F22A4 originally. Can I have an F22A6 engine put in my car? If so, with there be any possible problems from the switch?

Also, does anyone know where to order an F22A6 or F22A4 engine for my 1991 EX?

i dont quite understand by what you mean by switch but if you replace your motor with one other than what was originally installed you will need to get a new ECU for the motor you swapped

yes not only that you might need to make a custom fit for motor mounts

....why would you wanna invest in new engine and a new computer for an old car?,
