1996 Honda Accord Transmission acceleration Issue
I have 1996 Honda Accord EX 2.2 VTEC with 202k miles. The car starts fine, but when I'm driving the automatic transmission will shift from 1st to 2nd but by the time I reach 40+ mph the car goes into neutral and the RPM's rev high and will not catch until I slow down to 0-10 mph and then catches gears and accelerates again until I get to 40 mph. There is no Blinking D4 light or any other blinking nor are there any of the trans lights "Off" on the dash as well as there is no Check Engine light and No Stored Codes come up on the OBDII. I have changed the top Trans/control solenoid and the same problem exist?
As well as I have noticed a severe leak in Tranny Fluid...
I have read previous threads with similar problems but the answers appear to be the same as what I've already tried or all over the place solutions? Is there a precise conclusion on my matter?
Thanks in advanced for your help

Sounds like either slipping or broken gears. When I bought my accord, I didn't realize he was selling it with no tranny fluid. Within a couple weeks it was like it didn't have any gears, and the dealership said the tranny was completely destroyed with not even a drop of fluid in there.
From what you wrote down, especially about the leak, I'd highly recommend you don't even drive it anywhere until you have a professional check it out or until you know exactly what it is.
I'd really hate it if the tranny completely murders itself by somebody driving it and not bothering to get it checked like what happened with me!
