Hey guys. So I have a 2000 Accord LX 2.3l SOHC vtec with the BAXA tranny 207,875 miles. My problem is that I can crank up put the car in gear and has a hard shift into 2nd with no issues afterwards going into 3rd or 4th but it will not downshift back into 2nd or 1st afterwards just into 3rd, manually shifting into 1st or 2nd no engagement. Now if when I manual shift into 1st at start it will pull just fine shift into 2nd, ok, let off the accelerator any amount slips out gear and will not re-engage without the hard shift. I have changed the shift control lock up solenoid and the dual linear solenoid with no apparent benefit, maybe a little less of a hard shift into 2nd. Also have done atf change 3 times to get as much of the old fluid out as possible. My question is, could it be the other 2 solenoids or maybe a clogged oil strainer/filter? Oh almost forgot it also seems to be holding pressure in the case after shutoff, I checked the breather tube, not bent or clogged.
