Hello Everyone

Im new to this forum. Not sure if this question is already posted and addressed to.
Lately my Accord developed shifting gear problems (Hard shift from 1-2 and 2-3). If I remember the code correctly it is P0847. Got it diagnoised by a Transmission specialist and he said the 2nd gear is gone. Contacted Honda Inc, but they were reluctant to address this workmanship defect, since my car has 104k in it. I say defect in workmanship because the Honda's owner website says this car is in Recall for a defect in torque related issue.

My question is.. I have asked my transmission specialist to rebuild the transmission. Though im fully satisfied with the quality of work he do, im worried about the after effects of having a new tranny built? Can anyone guide me what needs to be taken care after a tranny rebuild and if you have come across any common problems after a tranny rebuild in 01 Honda Accord V6?
