'88 carb to injected
I've got an '88 Accord LX sitting in my driveway with a possibly dead engine. I was wonderng if it would be possible or plausible to swap my old carbureted engine with the fuel injected engine of the LXi. I would imagine they're swappable being mostly the same car, the LX and the LXi. I've always had problems with the carbureted engine in that car, hard starts, stalling frequently, overheating for seemingly no reason at all even after replacing the radiator and hoses.
If it's possible, I'd like to start over with this car, it's my first. Would replacing the old engine with the fuel injected one be doable at all?
If not, it'll be tough to let it go, but if I have to, then so be it. This is the second engine it's had and I don't like repeating old mistakes. If I can do something better this time around, then I'd like to. But if I can't, then that's that.
I'd appreciate any help, thanks.

RE: '88 carb to injected
you bet you can change it to FI. it will have much more power too. there is no reason to get rid of that car if you love it.. you can also take it one step further and put an h22 in it. youd have one serious muscle car at that point feel free to ask any further questions
