Hi am new to this forum, i did look around to see if i could find the answer to my problem befor posting a new thread, but did not quit find anything the same. I had just bought a 94 non vtec auto accord with a 5 speed vtec swap. the f22b1 when i bought the car it would run and then die off right away, so i brought it home changed plugs, oil and cleaned a few things got it running kinda rough but it ran for a day now dead. it will start and idle for about 20 sec maybe about 1 min if i keep my foot on the gas then bam it dies off some times starts right up and dies agein some times it will crank but never start. here it what ive done so far fuel filter, new plugs, new altenator, new batterie termanals, o2 sensor (it was missing when bought), new injectors, cleaned egr ports, then after all that did fine and diesd off. so checked for spark found i wasent getting any from my coil so changed that and still nothing. im stumped ive tryed everything still no spark and i think that is my issue so can any one help? any advice would be a help im stuck right now. pleasee help?

See if you get spark through the spark plugs.You could possibly have a bad ignition module,because your problem sounds electrical related.

Also have you replaced the distributor as a whole yet?

 

I have checked that as well and i dont have spark at he plugs or the ignition coil. so it has to be farther back in the system i would think im lost though

 

Just in case any one needs to know and is having the same issue, it was the ignightor that was the problem.
