94 accord transmission
I wanted to convert from my automatic to a manual for obvious tuning reasons, and i wanted to know where to get a good one for a decent price? i know i wont go cheap if the mileage is low, but theres one at my pick n pull with 200+k on it and im pretty sure i shouldnt use that one. I just wanted to know my options i dont plan on buying one after a month lol

Manual transmissions for the Accord is not that pricey comparing to automatic. You can get a decent one for less than $500, i found them as low as $150 if i pull it compare to over $1000 for automatic trans. Try your area car-parts.com.

Taking apart and rebuilding a manual transaxle is super easy. Take the case off insPect the gear teeth and synchronizer blocker ring clearances, if they are good eff it and just replace the case seals and bearings, fill it up with the recommended trans fluid and enjoy.
You can find them on eBay, junk yards, craigslist, ect

I would recommend getting a h22/23 trans. If you are trying to have some fun. ebay normally have a good selection for honda trans.
Also like Tek said easy to rebuild. You can also get a h series trans and slap a f23 5th gear and have nice short gears for racing and having fun and still keep the 5th gear for good MPG.
