94'accord idle and intermittent engine problem
I dont know exactly what engine type of my accord, I bought it on 1994, 2.2 litre , SOHC, Not Vtec. I have two problems: The 1st problem is, sometimes the car is runs rough and loss power. But sometimes it runs smooth and powerfull. The 2nd problem is, when i turn on Air Conditioner at idle, every couple seconds my engine cut for a while, seems like missfire or fuel problem ( the RPM is stable ). I can't determine what problem is, anyone have solutions??

Welcome to the forum!
Have you found any consistency in when it runs bad? like high speeds or high rpms or just runs rough at random times.... also when the A/C is on, is this something it just started doing? is it just the a/c compressor kicking in/kicking up and creating additional load?

RE: 94'accord idle and intermittent engine problem
When problem comes, It runs bad at any RPM even A/C turned off. Fuel and Ignition System already inspected by service dealer not using any ECM Scanner ( it's hard to find qualified service dealer in my little town ) so they can't make sure if the ECM ok. Is it possible that my problem comes from any sensors corresponding to ECM?. If so, what sensors must be checked first?

is the chk engine lite on ?? if so.. does it come on when car misfires?? or misfires first and then lites comes on.. If lite is ( comes ) on, you need to read the code and post it ..

ignigiton module maybe?
How many miles on this car?
You can try the following
1. Clean intake with seafoam and then change your spark plugs
2. Clean IAC valve
3. Check rotor and cap and replace it needed.
4. Check for vaccum leaks
5. Check your plug wires and make sure that they are not covered in oil. If they are, install a new valve cover gasket kit (VC gasket Tube seals, and grommets) It's about $30 from your local dealer.
It is normal for the A/C to place a drag on your motor but if the ECU is not compensating by upping the fuel then I would start with #2 on the list for that one.
