Default 99 Accord v6 transmission question.

Hey I'm new to this forum so I apologize if this topic has been covered a million times or if I'm using this thread incorrectly. I tried to research on my own but came out with nothing.

I have a 99 Accord EX v6 with an Automatic transmission. It's NOT acting up yet, however I've read and heard about the transmission problems that can occur. My accord has 115,000 miles on it currently, I bought it for $950 because it needed a few things to get it running properly again. I'm currently $2,300 in total, now it runs perfect and looks new. I replaced the transmission fluid at a certified honda dealer FYI.

Now for my question, I know it's impossible to predict when the transmission will go out. I'm wondering is it even worth replacing? And if so can I expect to replace it a 2nd or 3rd time? Also, is there a way to prevent the transmission from going out at such a low mileage?

I appreciate any help I can get thank you.

I have the same car as you with about 20,000 more miles than you stated on yours. The research Ive done shows that our car- the '99 - isnt the year w the trans issues, I believe its the '01 or '02? -feel free to correct me.
Of course that being said, you still want to do everything you can to insure it runs great. I like to use Lucas brand Transmisson Treatment in mine, when it feels a lil jumpy or needs a lil fluid. It came highly recommended to me and Ive been very happy w it.
