Default anyone ever used on of those performance boxes on their car?

has anyone ever used one of those boxes that claim to increase performance by changing the Intake air temp sensor reading? I was thinking of getting one of these because its pretty cheap.

no i dont have a link right now. but they all work the same way. they alter the resistence coming from the IAT and the computer thinks its drawing in cooler air so the computer advances the timing. Theoretically it sounds like it would work, im just wondering if you have ever actually tried one and got some extra juice out of it.

if i remember correctly, those thing should work, but not really worth it...they sell a similar product off ebay, it juss a resistor that u stick in in ur air sensor plug...trickin that the engine is more air comin in or somethin like that...wat is ur mods??? u might wanna invest in hondata or at least the vafc...hondata is gonna be well worth it if u gonna have good mods...

yea, it a pretty good start, might wanna add some exhaust hehehe...if i were u, lose the header wrap unless u got money to replace it often...wat is ur plan next? beside the chip box thing? honestly, i would not get that thing if i were u... wen i still got my stock f22b2, i bought sri, cai, and those thing called speed chip...i never actually install that speed chip in, the sri and cai i do...save up and invest in somethin worth it...h22a? or boost ur engine

I have one. The horsepower claims are a bit much but it did increase performance, no question about it. I have the least expensive one from here:
