Default anything i can do to make more power?

well i was just wondering if there was anything i could do to get more power out of my engine. i have a carbed 2.0...i would do an intake but the one thats on it is designed for the carb and all the aftermarket ones i see are for FI motors...i am looking into a header but is there anything else i can do to make power?

Lighter weight pulleys, but you sacrifice functionality of the alternator, beyond i/h/e and light weight pulleys you either have strip out all the weight in the car, or engine work or forced induction

well i am fine with engine mods so long as i dont have to do a swap...i dont have the money or need to do a swap....and a turbo is most likely out of the question because its a 2 barrel carb...which i would think isnt suffecient fuel for a turbo. i need my alternator to work properly as well as i run a 800 watt amp to my 10 inch sub....i wouldnt mine some more power from the exhaust...but i just dont like the loud 4 banger sound...if there is something barely above stock in noise level that would be great.

Going to headers or aftermarket exhaust is going to make your car louder no matter what you do. as far as the pulleys go you can go to AEM OEM Lightwheight pulleys. They maintain stock sizes but are billet aluminum (I believe) so you gain a fair amount of power with no loss to the alternator.

go with a bigger carb, or that double carb setup that they used on the old preludes.

anyone know how much fuel that dual carb setup flows? this will require a different intake correct? i wouldnt mind putting a little turbo on this thing just to give it a little pep... a few lbs of boost would about do it. also could i run a turbo on this motor witout tearing it down and putting in different internals?...cause i dont really wanna do that.

o yea you could easily turbo it without tearing it down.

i just dont know the power capabilities of the 2.0 in my car. anyone know exactly what i would need for the turbo setup? turbo, turbo manifold, dual carb intake, better head gasket, different ignition system, piping, ...better drivetrain parts? i dont know what can be reliably made on these motors...thats why i was wondering
