Default big power swap S2000

hey guys can anyone shead some light on the F20 C type S motor that is in the S2000 cars. i was wondering if you can put that bad boy in a 2000 honda accord 2 door. i know it a RWD tranny but can it be turned and placed for a FWD motor. i want that 240 HP!

Im not very familiar with this swap but its probly difficult and takes lots of custom work. welding, piecing together and such.

If you want a swap, I would put my money towards a K series. Like a newer I-vtec motor. Im not sure about mounts but i now hasport makes mounts for the 1994-1997 accords. you would probably like them since they are much more efficient and can make some power with the right works. I know their torque outputs are much better at all RPMs. i believe 2003 on is what youre looking for. they are k24a4, a8, z3 etc. a little research there would be good. sorry for the lack of complete knowledge just throwin out ideas

That F20C would be a tremendously difficult job. The engine spins the opposite way as any other F-series. It's really kind of a mystery why they even called it an F-series when it pretty much only shares the bore spacing.

Better off with a H-series engine for an easier swap.

If you have lots of money, the K-series engines might be the way to go. They also spin the opposite way, so you'll need the tranny to match. But at least it's a front-drive tranny.

It would probably be cheaper to buy a 2000 V6 Accord, swap the trans to a 6spd manual CL or TL trans, and supercharge it. That should give you more than 240hp.

yeah the H series torque isnt very high. i do like the power of the H22 but the Torque is like 160. thats crap. if anyone knew how to up the torque, that would be awesome.

and if the f20 spins the other way and so does the K. cant i just take the K tranny and place it there. i could probably get mounts. or maybe the 2003 honda accord will take it.

Get a K24a2 and swap that in. With some bolt ons you can make 240hp or more and will save yourself a lot of time and money.

Not saying the F20C couldn't be done, just would take a lot of custom fabricating and trial and error.
