Brakes and rotors

RE: Brakes and rotors
Depends on your funds. There are a large number of companies that produce drilled, slotted, or drilled/slotted brake rotors. All these cost only a little more than stock rotors, and help by increasing heat dissipation and reducing brake fade due to gas build-up. Also stainless steel brake lines are a good investment, since they can eliminate pressure loss due to expansion you see with conventional rubber hoses. For a few hundred you can get a brake kit form Power Stop that uses a larger rotor and a bracket to move the stock caliper. If you want to spend the big bucks (a few thousand) several companies like Brembo, Rotora, and Greddy make big brake kits with even larger rotors, as well as larger multiple piston calipers. All the big brake kits will need wheels of at least 17"
