how do i disconnect the airbags so that they dont deploy when i remove the rear bumper beam? what other large pieces can i remove to save some weight?

if your desprate to drop some weight, remove the back seats, take out the spare and jack, remove sound deadening material. But for safetys sake please keep that beam in. The back seats weigh more and dont have anything vital to the life saving features of the car.
