live2rice, why dont you spend $100 and buy yourself a Moates Burn1 chip burner and a few EEPROMS and then get the dyno tune? Much cheaper option and practically the same... you could still use your chipped ECU...
i am a firm believe in spending more for the brand name. plus who cares money is just money lol.........not that i make alot of it.

in other news just got my ecu in the mail

the best would be rechipping yourself if you have odb1 then its a matter of setting up the fuel maps based on the dyno tuning

If you already have a chipped ECU from phearable then why wouldn't you just dyno tune that? That is all Hondata is going to do for you. Give you a chipped ECU, a basemap and then you get to go dyno tune the car yourself. Same thing, you just spend more money. Now if you had an Acura with a K-series engine I would point you in their direction.

On a side note: I think Hondata is a company full of ******. They have been in the process of suing Dave Blundell, the founder of PGMFI.org, for "stealing" Hondata's technology, over the past year. That website has helped MANY, MANY, people, including myself, for free.

They're actually suing him b/c someone posted how Hondata works or whatever on the site. He didn't bring it down in time so they filed suit. They're just cutting their own throats. It's not like its his fault that people cracked hondata and found cheaper and easier ways around programming and tuning cars and ecu's.

Dave is an awesome guy. I've talked to him a few times on the phone when I was gonna buy a car from him. Whenever I get my engine setup done I'll be going to him to get it tuned.

Get educated, for starters.

The ECU doesn't contain horsepower, nor will it do much for you unless you have a turbo or NA setup needing different timing and fuel.
