Default Crankshaft sproket threads stripped

My 1999 Accord 2.3L stopped running yesterday. I looked under the hood and found out the the crankshaft bolt that never comes off did. The power steering belts, etc. fell off and the harmonic balancing pully was wobbling. The crankshaft bolt was not damage and the key are fine. The key slot is fine also. I really don't have $2K for an engine replacement. Can I align everything put the pin back in and bolt it back together? How long will the pin be able to last before breaking since the teeth are worn to nothing on the crankshaft?

Ouch that really does not sound like a good situation. I would see if the hole could be heli coiled, as I really wouldn't trust the key to hold it in.

What teeth on the crankshaft? There's no teeth on the crankshaft. There's just a keyway for the square-key that goes all the way in for the 2 timing sprockets as well as the external pulley.

I think he means threads.

If this happened to me first I would try cutting new threads with a TAP but being that the crank is hardened that would most likely not work and from there I think I would go to JB Weld. I do not see why JB weld wouldn't work. I would lightly coat the threads with it, the back side of the bolt head with it, and the glop it all over around the outside of the bolt head where it meets the crank pulley.

I think changing the timing belt before that was done would be a good idea as well as getting that bolt off again is going to be super hard.
