engine swap help?

i got a 91 honda accord
thinking about an engine swap but not really sure what engine id like to look for ....
i want to get a newer v-tec engine if thats possible..i think i got an h22 already in my car, not even a v-tec...id like to get some power...

but if anyone has any suggestions on what engine i should look for or would be a great fit in my car please post a reply...

if you already have an h22 engine in your car that means it was swapped in there, and stock engine wise you arent going to get much better then an h22, most likely tho you have an f22 if there wasnt already a swap.

Now if you actually do have an h22 in there, just change the cams to get you some more power. But that all just depends

you need to do a little more research before you start thinking about a swap, you should be able to spot a h22 from about 35 feet away, when your starting to get close to starting to think about installing one. we are here to help though

yea sorry about that guys...i thought i edited my post to change the correction on my car having an f22 not an h22....guess not...

yea so would an h22 be the way to go for a swap or are there others that i should keep in mind when looking for an engine to buy..

yeah h22 is an awesome motor to swap in there. If I were going to swap an engine, that's what I would go with.

Start googling some "accord engine swaps" or something and read what others have done. Start planning now and seeing what you need. When you get a solid plan, everything else will be a breeze. Well, sort of.
