Default F22a6 head on F22b2 Block

so i have come to a conclusion that im going to drop an f22a6 head on my f22b2 block. I was thinking these heads flow better and it would be easier to do a junkyard turbo if i wanted to. so i posted an add on craigslist asking for one of the cb7 heads. what do you know a kid texts me and says he has the 1993 accord ex head. the f22a6, the exact one i was preferring. so im going to check it out and possibly get it by next week. im getting the head and exhaust manifold. he wants $160, it had 127K on it.

I know this swap works but i was wondering if anyone has some incite into what i should really do with this project? i will need an intake manifold. i also plan on taking pics and posting a DIY in the DIY section so ill keep everyone updated. should i go N/A or boost it? and trust me i already know N/A can get expensive way beyond turbo. im only talking some streetable power. like 150-200HP to the flywheel give or take. i just want to have a fun ride. someone sway me in a direction lol.

$160 for a a4 head is little high price if you ask me. $100 sounds about the right price. I’d just look at the pnp you can get them for under 100bucks intake exhaust mani and everything. But that's just my 2c

I looked up all the pnp's and no one has one around here at all. i would probably have to drive a light year to find one lol. they sell for like 200 on the net so i figured 160 isnt bad.

so my next question is what headgasket should i use for this? also it seems i may run into a problem using my b2 IM. what intake manifold should i try and grab for this?

You need either a f22a or h23 intake manifold. H23 mani will produce more power than f22a manifold. Also the f22b exhaust mani will not bolt to the f22a head. Match the head gasket to the head...I almost 100% sure all f series head gaskets are the same but I don't mess with the f22b engines I don't like the f22b heads except for f22b DOHC head.
I know some one who is selling a h23 head that would be a better head to use over the a6. look at this link and talk to this guy. You might get a cheaper deal for a better head.

I've been thinking about it and shipping would probably be a killer. im just gonna stay with the a6 head. thanks for the info though. he might be able to help me getting the h23 thermo housing and f22a water hose. Im gonna have the head built before i put it on.
