Default FRONT motor mount

I'm going to replace the front and side motor mounts on my 01 v6 coupe. I've research on how and it is all straight forward but non of the sources I used talk about the lines on the front mount. I know the front mount is fluid filled and is adjustable from idle to driving. Is it a vacuum line or does it have fluid too? Any special steps required with the line in order to replace the mount?

The line to the mount is a vacuum line. The fluid is in the mount and is used to provide dampening when vacuum is applied by ECU to close a valve and isolate fluid.

If mount is damaged the fluid may leak out.

good luck

Damaged is an under statement it's in two pieces. If you accelerate hard the front end jumps like 6 inches. So do I need to get a compression fitting?

You need a new motor mount. Vacuum line is just a push-on connection.

good luck
