alrite i have a h22a in my cd5 ex and it only starts with the stock f22 p0a ecu and stays on and it studders wen i drive .... but when i plug in a p13 j mt ecu it started and shut off i have to keep my foot on the gas too keep it running and gives me cel codes 12 (exhaust re circulation system) and code 14 (iacv)or bad ecm ... i tried a p13 j at ecu and same thing starts and then stalls wen i take my foot off the gas it gave me cel 21( VTECH control soleniod) and 41 (heat o2 sensor heater)
i also had a p28 hooked up to it and it did the same thing stalled but this time it gave me cel 9 (no1 cylider position sensor )and code 6 (engine coolant temp) im totally lost every ecu i put in gives me a diffent code i dont know wat to do ?

 

Is your cd5 obd1 or obd2?...same thing with the h22 engine what obd?

what about the engine? Is it also obd1? If not there might lay your prob. If the engine is obd2 you will need a obd1 p13 with a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness.
