The "Honda G series" engine is an inline 5 cylindergasoline engine,originally used in the 1992 Acura Vigor and Honda Accord. [&:]
Producing 176 hp @ 6300 rpm..and torque of 170ft·lbf @3900 [8D]
the redline was 6800 rpm [:'(]

The G25 was never in an accord.So you're wrong...twice
We're talking about a hybrid motor using H and F parts.

Oh, so thereactuallywas a REAL G-series. Thanks for the info.
But I think the 5-cylinder G-series is relatively obscure for most Accord people, so that's why someone started calling this combination a G.
