Exclamation hitachi distributor

hello everyone. new to the site. thank you, thank you
so heres the backstory. i bought an accel tuneup kit for my 94 accord ex vtec. cam with a coil, cap, rotors and a wireset. the cap was a mirror image of stock and the coil was threaded inputs, not spade. i contacted the vendor to see what was going on and was told the kit is for a TEC dis, i have a hitachi. so my question. do they make a aftermarket coil for the hitchi dist or am i gonna have to find a new one to make this happen? h22a distributor wont work since the prelude vtec is DOHC and the timing is 180 degrees off. and i dont want it to start chokin and puking when vtec enables. ideas?

Unless original coil is damaged keep using it until you find a substitute. Coils are not planned maintenance items.

good luck

Umm....so is that a no? Very vague, I understand it's not a planned maintenance part, that wasn't my question. Do they make an aftermarket coil (accel, crane, comp, msd) for my specific distributor? Or am I gonna have to find another way?

Do nothing is one option. Aftermarket coils are likely available. I did not search for one.

good luck
