RE: i need your opinions
Hmm i read the posts and the guy said "Well Guys, the head that you see in the pics was over ported and had spots on the exhaust side that went into the coolant part on the head, causing white smoke to flow from my exhaust and my car unable to run properly, I had to send the head back to gude and he ported another head for me, lucky for me he finished it within a week and I had it installed professionally, so my car is finally running and I'm currently breaking in my new clutch, I have to say that this has been the worst automotive experience I have ever had, and from now on if I ever need engine work I will go through Flying Miata, Gude needs to re-evaluate his company and start being more professional about things, like taking over 3 months to build my engine, and a few weeks for other peoples ****. on a good note the engine really rumbles and seems to have quite a bit more power, DYNO coming soon..." the other people said gude also has a bad reputation with customers and delivery so it sounds that it will be too much of a headache.

RE: i need your opinions
7 psi could be anywhere from 180 to about 220 HP at the wheels ..... depends on the turbo, manifold, wastegate, controller and tune.
A rear mounted turbo, STS performance, is set up differently than one that is under the hood. The trim and AR's are taylored for the cooler exhaust gas at the rear. The main pros for their setup are that it fits almost every car since it goes where a resonator or muffler would be otherwise and it runs a whole lot cooler. The cons are that this setup is not that common, could have trouble tuning since not many techs are familiar with it and it could be really hard to pipe up the charge pipe from the turbo to the intake.

what i was thinking for now, is after i get the turbo, ill but the manifold, wastegate, and blow off. and that will be it. for now, i wont run an intercooler until i get more money. im looking to keep this project under 1000 dollars. plus, you guys said that i can run 6 or 7 pounds without doing any other engine mods.
