RE: idling problems
im definetly not an expert on this (or anything close)... but i think it might be related to your fast idle thermo valve ... or FITV. But before you do anything about it wait for a more knowledgeable member to chime in....

You could always go to our DIY section and read the surging idle post. Here's a link

RE: idling problems
well i checked out the post and it helped out some but my motor dosent look like that idk where the fitv is or any of the idling components i got a clue but dont know what is what. Also i reset the ecu and it helped some, the car would get half warm then it would start doing it, then i'd put it in gear "its an AT btw" and leave it in gear for 20 sec. then put it in park again andit wouldnt do it, but if i touched the gas it would do it until completly warm.

RE: idling problems
Underneath your throttle body, #14 is the FITV.
On the back of the intake manifold, #19 is the IACV.
Make sure you first eliminate any vacuum leaks & bleed the air out of your cooling system.
Also be aware that many people have had troubles using Bosch spark plugs in Hondas (I noticed them in your signature).

RE: idling problems
For some reason Bosch plugs fry Honda coils. Any brand NGK will do. The double platinums cost a lot, but they are supposed to last 100k miles. I don't really know anything about iridiums. Double plats came stock in 2000 & newer models so I just bought 4 of them for my LX, but I haven't gotten around to changing them out yet.
Check the prices atAdvance Auto Parts. I got them cheaperat Advancethan on sparkplugs.com!
