My automatic is stalling?!?!?!
I have a 94 accord with an automatic transmission and it sometimes stutters and stalls when I am stopped. I'm no mechanic, but i'm pretty sure that's not a normal thing for an automatic to do it is a periodic problem and will come and go as I drive. I haven't noticed any specific weather conditions that cause this problem, it seems pretty random. I would just like to know what could be causing this problem so I don't end up spending tons of money diagnosing and replacing everything in the power train.
Thanks

More like the idle control system.
Search the boards for some of the following stuff...
Clean the throttle body out, especially around where the throttle plate closes against the bore.
IACV = idle-air control valve. Clean it out with throttlebody cleaner.
FITV = fast-idle thermal valve. Clean it too, but that usually results in HIGH & surging idle.
Setting of "BASE idle" rpm.
