Default New Accord 2009

I wanna know if there is a speed limit for certain number of kilometers for a brand new accord or i can go at any high speed?
Further if there is a limit of RPM in automatic transmission.

Cheers

There is likely a speed limiter in the area of 135mph, auto transmission can go to redline in all gears.

I had kind of a similar question... does it damamge the engine if my Accord shifts from 1st-2nd gear and 2nd-3rd at 3 RPMS?

No, but with a 98-02 V6 auto, I bet it hates it.

Why do you say that? What does it do? I dont do it constantly, I try to make it shift below the 3 RPM meter.

The 98-02 V6 auto tranny is the most plagued with the auto problems from 98-2003. The transmission is weak and can barely handle the J30 engine in stock form and just cruising.

Yea, I've kinda noticing that. I've been considering an auto-to-manual swap.

It's about $2500-$3500 parts and labor. Could be done for $1k if you DIY and get good deals on some new parts.

I think I mentioned this before, but I'm going to UTI (University of Technical Institute, a car school) this year, and after I buy all the mods I want (headers, cat-back, SRI, (maybe) new throttle body) and I dont have the money for a new car, I'll probably do the tranny swap. So by that time I buy all the stuff for my car, and no money, and I finished the two year program, I can probably do it myself.
