Poor MPG
So I have a 1994 Accord LX bought it in December to drive back and forth to work. It is a Manual and was a one owner car with all the service done O2 Sensor replaced when I got it, However when I got it the gas mileage was not what I expected it to be. I drive mostly highway and very little city and get a max of 22 mpg that is as high as it has been since Ive had it. I dont drive crazy and really cant understand why it is so low. Any Suggestions.

I get about 27-28 mpg on my commute; 10 mins street + 20 mins highway w/ an auto trans.
You should be doing better,...assuming you are not heavily accelerating/decelerating from/to each stop sign.
If you're sure your driving habits are not the problem, some things to check:
1) brake pads dragging due to sticking caliper pins or caliper piston
2) fuel leaks at the fuel rail - injector connections
3) fuel pressure regulator leaking fuel directly to vacuum reference line (check vacuum line for fuel)
4) leaking fuel lines from fuel tank to fuel rail (underside of vehicle).
good luck

Thanks for the replies! I actually just did a full tune up like 2 months ago. I figured it needed it since it wasn't done in a few years, I have quite a few problems with the car (vibration, squealing, electrical issues) but love to drive it
