I prefer Marvel Mystery Oil for 1000 miles to free up lifters.

Seafoam is petroleum jelly (correct me if I'm wrong) and gets rid of carbon buildup in your engine

You can use it in your gas tank, crankcase, or even find a vacuum (brake booster or PCV) to suck it up. Be careful not to put too much and hydro lock your engine.


I've actually never got my car to smoke like other cars do on youtube. I figure it's because the chevron gasoline cleans it out before hand.....it ran a lot better after my first application of the stuff
