Default timing belt

My car has about 74K miles. When does the timing belt need to be changed? How much does that usually cost?

You may want to look into if your car has a chain or a belt, I know the 03 4cyl has a chain, which a chain needs to be replaced far less often.

I forgot when Honda recommends the belt to be done, its somewhere between 80-100k.

honda told me to do it at 100k but i didnt do it till 120k and it was working fine still. i just did it cause i was already changing my rotors, pads, water pump, and spark plugs already.

SRSpower: I-m not 100%, but I think the interval is 105,000 miles on the timing belt. Unless you are doing the work yourself or with friends that are helping you for free, this job will cost between 500-800 dollars.
