Default Transmission match up?

So i posted a while ago about my car not starting, i tracked it down to my ignition system, but the transmission is shot, theres fluid everywhere and its just a mess....BUT i finaly have a reason to do the 5 speed swap, so i'ev been readin these write ups for the past half year now so im pretty fluent in the parts list, but the biggest purchase is of course the tranny itself, Im considering the F22 trasnmission, Code is M2j5, correct me if im wrong but this wiil fit right? and also i'ev read the auto ecu will run fine but with lose of gas efficiency and throwing up CEL. The only reason is that with my pocket being strained by this purchase i wanted to know if i could save a little for now until i get the h22 chiped p28. Also in my 94 accord ex is it Obd1 or Obd2, i feel dumb for asking but im second guessing myself.

any F or H series trans will bolt to the F or H series engines. So your good. If you can find one I would go with a h22 or h23 trans. It will be night a day difference from the F series trans.
Also when doing your trans swap I have a very good short cut for the clutch line that I will share with you if interested. So you don't have to run all the OEM clutch lines on the fire wall b/c it is a HUGE PITA.
You SHOULD be obd1 but I think 94 was when they started to do the switch (I think) Just go to the pick n pull or junk yard and snag a 5speed ecu to save yourself the headache you should be able to pick one up for like $20 or so. If not I'm sure you can find a ecu on a forum for cheap...prob. not this one tho b/c only like 3 of us member have swapped ecus for a chipped one.

Clutch Question: Clutch Damper Replacement or Removal - Page 6 - Honda-Tech

You need to find post #132 and use that parts list at submitracing.com
It will run you under $90. Also this mod will delete the clutch dampener. But it's not needed. When I finally get my engine and trans all ready I will be taking this rout too. B/c I have already done everything else for my 5speed swap I just also need the ESP mount for the trans.

That reminds me...you will need to either buy the ESP trans mount or buy their FULL engine mount kit. The engine mount kit is a very good price like $300 shipped to you. Then the mount itself is like $110 plus ship I think. But you WILL need this mount to make a 5spped trans if in your auto engine bay.

I have the speed mount from the donor car at the pick n pull, and i was going to drill through the dimple in the upper and to the left of the holewhere the auto it. And the short cut is it the stainless steel line in place of the dampener? Cause the walk through im using suggest that.

the SS line it for the WHOLE clutch line. Makes things much easier.
If your using the 5speed mount from the donnor then you will need to weld it in your engine bay. I don't think you can just simply just tap it. I believe the auto mount in the car is farther back in the engine bay than the 5speed engine bay.
