transmission shifting hard??
Hey I have a 96 accord and it shifts really rough. any ideas why it could be doing this?

Automatic trans? Are you using Honda ATF or Dexron? I'm no auto-trans expert but I've heard Dexron can cause harsh shifting.
Manual trans? Are you talking about sticky synchros? Clutch that grabs too much?

Is D4 light flashing or CEL on? If yes, Check for transmission control unit (TCU) codes w/ OBD2 scanner.
