Default "88 accord - missing then stalling

'88 accord/carburated - having problem with missing, losing power at highway speed then stalling and not starting for 45-60 mins. Found damaged plug wire, replaced wires, cap & rotor. Ran ok then acted up again (idles in driveway fine for 1/2 hr.), changed plugs today, as they seemed pretty fouled, didn't quit on way to work but still may have slight miss. Any ideas based on past expereince? Would the ignititor (external) act up only under load?

Thanks
