Default **2001 coupe ex remote start problem**

Okay, so I just bought a used '01 silver coupe ex and i love it!. It comes with an AutoMate AM6 already installed but apparently never used. When I hit the button on the remote to start it, the engine cranks but won't turnover. It repeats this three times, and then stops. When I start the car normally, it starts right up. When I have the key in the ignition turned to the "acc" position, it cranks 3 times then repeats just like when the key is out of the car, but when the key is turned to the "on" position but not started, and i hit the remote start button on the key, it starts right up. I have no idea why it does this and I want to be able to use this feature when its 30 degrees out and there's tons of snow on the ground. Please help !
Thanks HAF !

It was mis-wired initially and will need to be re-worked. You will need to contact the remote starter manufacturer and obtain an installation manual. Then you can find what has been wired incorrectly.

good luck

The imobelizer is not allowing the car to be started. 1 the box that they put the key in was removed or they didn't put one in and it never worked before.
