01 accord f23 hesitates to start when warm??

Incidentally, 2001 F23 engine didn't have an oil-pan gasket. Only sealant was used. There are gaskets available now, but it didn't come that way from the factory.
I think the timing light is to test whether the spark is sufficiently strong. Not to check your camshaft timing anyway.

Hmm I never knew that about the oil pan but I won't have my hands on a Timing light for a few days
What's then best way to check the coil pack?
Everyone I talk to seems to think that's my promblem the rotor cap and button was replaced at 150000 just found recipes in car for that

Have you cleared the codes and then diven the car to see which if any come back.
Your post with the codes wasn't clear to me as to if this was before or after doing some repairs....yes, I'm easy to confuse.

Misfires with a rough start may be as simple as bad spark plugs. Or even improperly gapped spark plugs. Check them, check the wires, make sure theyre in the distributor cap all the way and the head all the way.
But...
I just had some issues with my f22 that were a bit more subtle. In my research I found that theres one common thing that will cause all these issues: the ignition coil. I did a resistance test and found mine was bad. Replaced it and the car is a lot better. Before I couldnt even feel Vtec engage. I think my symptoms were more subtle because I beefed up the circuits and grounds.
You can do a resistance test between the three terminals.
There was also a recall on the 6th gens. But I think just the 98s. I would check for that too through here:

I jump around a lot. Pay attention to what I said about the ignition coil most :P
